The Crane Guys work night and day to provide Los Angeles with top-flight crane rental services. But the actual work doesn’t begin when the crew arrives. It begins with our intensive safety training programs. These ongoing programs enable The Crane Guys to maintain a crew who are consistently updated and prepared for all situations.
Safety First
Safety always has been the number one priority of The Crane Guys. Our goal is to keep everyone healthy and injury free while avoiding property damage.
Not an easy task. Along with rigging and crews, huge cranes rumbling to a job site road carry enormous risks. Ever-present is the possibility of fire, rigging failures, contact with electrical lines, tip-overs, environmental spills, and countless other potential hazards. Metal poles, heavy lifting, huge structures must be dealt with. It all adds up to quite a load resting on the shoulders of mere human beings. But thanks to our rigorous safety training, The Crane Guys handle it with consistent success.

Safety Actually Begins Before We Leave
One of the most common hazards faced by crane rental services is the problem loose loads. 500 lb. blocks, spreader bars, wire rope slings, and other equipment easily slip off a crane in the event of impact, hard breaking, or sudden movements such as swerving.
To address this critical issue, our safety training programs prepare crews to properly secure all loads. They avoid guesswork and know what to use every time. For example, ratchet straps instead of rubber ‘bungees’, which cannot hold a 200 lb. spreader bar on the crane deck.
Once on the job, our crews are ready for action — a well-coordinated unit fully aware of their surroundings. The right people and the right equipment all doing the right thing. This is the key to The Crane Guys’ impressive record of job site safety.
