PROVEN PAST PERFORMANCE
Eaton Fire & Palisades Fire Storm Relief
At the start of 2025, emergency support efforts during extenuating circumstances resulted in the immediate mobilization of most, if not all, TCG machines along with their certified operating personnel. Cranes ranging from 22-ton self-loaders to 350-ton All Terrain Cranes supported relief efforts to restore power in areas impacted by raging fires and destructive winds.
Hollywood Hills – Emergent Work
Utilizing a 45-, 275- and 350-ton crane, TCG safely performed exchanges to transmission poles (eight (8) 70–85 ft H4 wood) affected by the Hollywood fires that scorched Hollywood Hills at the beginning of 2025. This project, performed alongside our partners at Ferreira Power West, embraced and overcame several challenges including congested travel and crane set-up areas, sloped roads in excess of 8% grades, high reaches over tall structures, inclement weather and demanding logistics.
SCE & LADWP Crane Operations
TCG is under contract with Southern California Edison (SCE) as well as Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP) for direct crane services. Direct support of these contracts, which extends to power distribution, generation, transmission and substation maintenance, utilizes the full breadth of our fleet, integrated traffic control solutions, turnkey hoisting services, resources and expertise.
Substation Maintenance & Turnarounds
Our team supports substation & generating station maintenance turnarounds, providing 24/7 preventive maintenance, system inspections, and emergency repairs on live and de-energized electrical equipment. We have supported maintenance to natural gas, combustion turbines as well as high pressure, intermediate pressure and low-pressure steam turbines during regularly scheduled major and minor plant outages in 2022, 2023 and 2025.
